Chinese Shamanic Tiger Qigong - Emei Zhengong

Mt Emei Sage Style Qigong

Mt Emei Shan

As one of my side interests, I have been exploring the world of Qigong and the cultivation of a healthy lifestyle through fitness and nutrition.  To this end I have been studying a style of Qigong called "Five Element Qigong", a form of exercise for bringing harmony to the mind and body.  Along the way, I have practiced several other Qigong forms, including one called "Laohu Gong" (Tiger Form).  This is a translation of this form inspired by a meditation tradition called "Mahamudra" in the Karma Kagyu lineage of TIbetan Buddhism.

This translation was inspired by doing Tiger Form in the park on one sunny day.  The clear light came through about halfway through the form, and I had to just stop, sit down, and experience it.
